I recently read the book “Head Strong”, by Dave Asprey and it has changed the way I look at fat forever. While a lot of people right now have jumped on the high-fat, low-carb diet for weight-loss, this book explains the actual health benefits of this specific diet. In this book I learned that:

- Increase cognitive function as well as physical and mental performance
- Increase nutrient stores and strengthen immune function
I’ll admit, the information is a bit overwhelming. But like any other changes you make, taking things one step at a time is best. To help me get started on this new dietary and lifestyle journey, the book recommends following the simple steps laid out on The Bulletproof Blog. Of course reading the book is highly recommended by myself and the author. It helped me really understand the science behind this dietary plan and moved beyond just weight loss.
